Trezam1gm Injection contains Aztreonam, is an Antibiotic injection which are used to prevent or treat a variety of bacterial infections, such as those of the blood, brain, ears, skin, belly, bones, lungs, and urinary tract.

Composition: Aztreonam

Mechanism of Action:

Aztreonam functions by preventing the production of bacterial cell walls. It causes cell lysis and death by attaching itself to penicillin-binding proteins in the bacterial cell wall. It is more efficient against resistant strains because of its monobactam structure, which makes it resistant to several bacterial beta-lactamases.
