Grastim 300mcg Injection contains Filgrastim that stimulates the bone marrow to produce more white blood cells that help fight infection. Grastim 300 Injection is used to increase the number of white blood cells in patients with HIV infection, severe chronic neutropenia, bone marrow transplantation, and prior to stem cell donation.

Mechanism of Action:

In order to promote the development, maturation, and discharge of neutrophils into the bloodstream, filgrastim attaches to and activates certain receptors on the surface of neutrophil precursor cells in the bone marrow. This assists in decreasing the likelihood of infections in those with low leukocyte counts.
