Fonyl 4gm Injection contains Fosfomycin Sodium, an antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, especially when other antibiotics may not be suitable. It kills bacteria and stops them from growing by blocking the manufacture of their cell walls.

While taking this medication, let your doctor know about any allergies, kidney or liver issues, and whether you are pregnant or nursing. You should also abstain from alcohol and caffeine, and if you feel drowsy or lightheaded, you should not drive.

Mechanism of Action:

Inhibiting the synthesis of peptidoglycan, an essential part of the bacterial cell wall, is how fosfomycin functions. Fosfomycin helps treat infections by stopping the manufacture of bacterial cell walls, which results in the death of the bacteria.

Dosage and Administration:
