Dyronib 70mg Tablet contains Dasatinib is used to treat chronic myeloid leukaemia in patients who cannot use other medications due to side effects.

Composition: Dasatinib

Mechanism of Action:

Tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) such as dasatinib target BCR-ABL, the aberrant protein that is generated by the Philadelphia chromosome. Dasatinib causes cell death by blocking the signals that encourage the development and multiplication of cancer cells by inhibiting this protein.

Dosage and administration:

Orally administered with or without meals. For CML, the recommended beginning dosage is 100 mg once day. The usual suggested dosage for ALL is 140 mg once day. Depending on tolerability and clinical response, dosage modifications may be necessary.
