About Capsy 500mg Tablet

Capsy 500mg Tablet contains Capecitabine is an oral chemotherapy drug used primarily in the treatment of certain cancers. Prodrug capecitabine inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells by converting into 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) in the body.

Mechanism of Action:

A prodrug of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) is capecitabine. After consumption, it is broken down into 5-FU in the liver and tumors, which stops the synthesis of DNA in cancer cells that divide quickly. This slows the growth of tumors and aids in their reduction.

Dosage and Administration:
