Apigat 2.5mg Tablet contains Apixaban, a selective inhibitor of Factor Xa, which is crucial in the coagulation cascade. Apixaban stops thrombin from forming and blood clots from forming by inhibiting Factor Xa. It is frequently used to treat and prevent a range of thromboembolic conditions.

There is no requirement for routine PT-INR monitoring; do not take this medication if you have severe liver or renal problems, bleeding, or are taking anticoagulants.
