Mechanism of Action:

By attaching to erythropoietin receptors on erythroid progenitor cells in the bone marrow, human recombinant erythropoietin Alfa (Epoetin Alfa) increases the generation of red blood cells. This binding stimulates the proliferation and development of these progenitor cells by activating intracellular signaling pathways, including the JAK2/STAT5 pathway.
