    Voritrop 200mg Tablet contains voriconazole, which is an antifungal medication. Serious fungal diseases such invasive aspergillosis and infections resulting from Candida species, such as those affecting the throat, esophagus, and other internal organs, are treated with it. When other antifungal therapies have not worked or are not appropriate, it is especially helpful.

  Mechanism of Action:

 The mechanism of action of voriconazole is to prevent the formation of ergosterol, which is a crucial part of the fungal cell membrane. This causes the fungal cells to finally die off due to increased membrane permeability.

  Dosage and Administration:

The dose depends on the type and severity of the infection, as well as the patient's weight and kidney function. It is often administered orally every 12 hours, or intravenously in more severe situations.
