Mofetyl-S 360mg Tablet contains Mycophenolate mofetil, an immunosuppressant used primarily to prevent organ rejection in transplant patients.

Composition: Mycophenolate mofetil

Mechanism of Action:

A prodrug called mycophenolate mofetil is transformed by the body into mycophenolic acid (MPA). The enzyme inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH), which is required for T- and B-lymphocyte proliferation, is inhibited by MPA. It reduces the immunological response that can target transplanted organs by suppressing these cells.
